Photomonth in Krakow

Traditionally, for the whole of May over the whole city, world class photography will reign. Also featured are lectures, projections, slide shows, a portfolio review, exhibitions… The Photomonth in Kraków coincides with the height of spring. The curators of the ninth edition of the festival – the artistic pairing of Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin – have decided this year, rather than a main theme, to offer an overarching logic and strategy based on aliases. Dozens of exhibitions in museums, galleries, clubs and public space in Kraków, crowds of visitors: photography lovers, experts and critics.
