Mt. Fuji Project



Right in the heart of Japan, shrouded with reverence, Mount Fuji has been present in the country’s art for centuries, as well as in company names, logotypes, on the carriages of the Shinkansen bullet train… The exhibitions and the accompanying educational programme form a part of a project running over several months, organised by the Manggha Museum, introducing the role of this symbol in Japan’s old and contemporary culture.
