Lutosławski Piano Duo

The shortest description of the Lutosławski Piano Duo is four hands, two minds, one thought. This harmonious, award winning duet comprises Emilia Sitarz and Bartłomiej Wąsik. Their repertoire includes compositions ranging from the Baroque to contemporary, including individual transcriptions of symphonic works and arrangements of folk songs and dances a quattro mani – they only perform pieces either on a single or on two pianos. On 10 and 11 February, the duo will present concertos by Bach and Poulenc for two pianos and orchestra. (Barbara Skowrońska)
