Dr. Tytus Chałubiński Tatra Museum
The Tatra Museum was set up by a group of friends of Dr. Tytus Chałubiński, the discoverer of the values of Zakopane as a health resort, an outstanding physician, scientist and social activist, a great admirer of the Tatra Mountains and the folklore of the local people.

The museum in Villa Atma houses the world's only biographical museum of Karol Szymanowski. The greatest Polish composer after Frederic Chopin towards the end of his life settled in Zakopane taking up residence in the Villa Atma.
